Michael Rowland has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Mine Manager at Kinross Gold Corporation since November 1998. Michael's career at Kinross has encompassed various roles including MEM Superintendent, Maintenance Manager, Ore Processing Superintendent, Mill Maintenance General Foreman, Mill Maintenance Planner, Assay Lab Supervisor, Mill Operator, Assay Lab Lead, and Assay Lab Tech. Prior to joining Kinross, Michael served in the US Army from April 1991 to October 1998 as an Infantry Squad Leader and Infantry. Michael is currently pursuing an Advanced Executive Certificate in Organizational Leadership at Queen's University, following previous studies at Kaiser College from 2004 to 2005 and education at Hoosick Falls Central.
