Deborah Smith

Deborah Smith is an experienced professional in community development and engagement, currently serving as the Head of Wales at Kinship since July 2020. Prior to this role, Deborah held the position of Development Manager for Wales at The Roots Foundation Wales from January 2021 to April 2023 and served as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the organization. Deborah's earlier experience includes working as a Development Officer for Kinship Care at Children in Wales from June 2016 to July 2020, and as an Engagement Manager at Age Cymru from July 2006 to April 2016. Deborah's educational background includes an MSc in Community Regeneration and a BA in Geography and History, both from the University of South Wales, as well as studies at Trinity College from 1988 to 1992.
