Prentice Tom has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Prentice is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Kintsugi, a company focused on expanding access to mental healthcare through innovative AI technology. Prior to this, Prentice held various positions at Vituity, including Futurist and Chief Innovation Officer / Executive VP of Medical Affairs. Before joining Vituity, they served as the Chief Medical Officer at CEP America. Prentice also has experience as the President of Galen Inpatient Physician Services. Prentice began their career as an Assistant Professor of Surgery / Emergency Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Prentice Tom has a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Harvard Medical School. Additionally, they were a Kaiser Fellow in Health Policy and Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prentice also completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biophysics/Medical Physics option at the University of California, Berkeley. Moreover, they completed the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, earning an ABMS-EM degree.
