Kinvana is a metaphor for a forest of belonging; Kin meaning community and Vana meaning forest. Just as a forest thrives through the coexistence of diverse beings, Kinvana envisions an ecosystem where every individual is nurtured, supported, and empowered to bloom into their fullest unique self.

We are committed to building an inclusive and sustainable future by working at the intersection of environmental sustainability and the empowerment of gender and sexually marginalized communities. We challenge traditional narratives that portray them as passive recipients of support, instead recognizing and amplifying their role as active contributors and changemakers. By integrating their wisdom, knowledge, and lived experiences into development processes, we strive to create communities rooted in respect, care for people and the planet and true inclusion.
