Bernd Eitel completed an MBA essentials program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2020. Bernd earned a Master's degree in Allgemeine Rhetorik, Politikwissenschaften, Geschichte from the University of Tübingen from 1992 to 1998. In addition, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Communications, Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1994 to 1995.

Bernd also has additional certifications including a Management Development Course from GE in 2013 and General Management and Advanced Management Courses from Siemens in 2009 and 2007, respectively.
