Brandon Muller

Brandon Muller has a diverse work experience in various roles over the years. Brandon started their career at Best Buy as a Product Specialist, assisting customers with purchasing computer systems and troubleshooting their issues. Brandon then joined GENCO Distribution System as a member of the Information Systems team, where they performed network analysis and troubleshooting. After that, they worked at Marinar Technology Co as a Help Desk Coordinator for a brief period.

Subsequently, Muller joined Microlink Inc as a Lead On-Site Technician, where they constructed and provided support for Windows 2003 domain networks. Brandon then worked at CACI as a Technician 5 (Lead A/V Technician), responsible for the operations of audio-video technology for a military institute.

Muller's career progression continued at SafeNet, where they served in multiple roles, including Desktop Support Specialist, Associate Systems Administrator, Security Engineer, and Systems Administrator/ISSM. Brandon'sresponsibilities ranged from providing technical support to end-users, managing classified domains, and developing information security programs.

Brandon later joined CACI International Inc as a Systems Administrator 3, where their tasks involved designing, developing, and implementing Windows domain environments for coalition partner networks.

Following that, Muller worked at Applied Insight LLC as a System Administrator, where they engineered and maintained Amazon AWS technologies and managed various software technologies in Windows domain environments.

Most recently, they joined Encamp as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer. In this role, Muller orchestrated and spearheaded the development of comprehensive information security, disaster recovery, vulnerability/risk management, and SOC2 compliance programs. Brandon also directed the company through their initial SOC 2 audit, achieving Type 2 compliance.

Overall, Brandon Muller has gained extensive experience in areas such as systems administration, information security, and DevSecOps engineering throughout their career.

Brandon Muller has a solid education background in technology. Brandon obtained an Associate degree in Specialized Technology with a focus on Computer and Network Systems Technology from Pittsburgh Technical College, where they attended from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Perry Public High School, specializing in CISCO network technology and computer hardware, from 1996 to 2000, earning their High School Diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Brandon Muller has also acquired several certifications in the field. In 2016, they became a VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization through VMware. In 2015, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification, certified by ITIL Certified. Furthermore, in 2014, they became Security+ certified by CompTIA. More recently, in 2021, they obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp. Lastly, in 2018, they earned the MTA: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals - Certified 2018 certification from Microsoft.
