Michael Pickrum

Michael Pickrum has a personal and professional passion for the impact of learning and brings over twenty years of experience in strategy, finance, business development, business transformation and operations focused on growth. Mr. Pickrum is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at ExecOnline, an industry-leading content and digital learning platform targeted to enterprises. ExecOnline partners with top global business schools to deliver online employee development and training programs that solve organizations’ business needs. Before joining ExecOnline, Michael served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Cengage, a leading educational content, technology, and services company for higher education, K-12 and library markets. Prior to Cengage, Mr. Pickrum was the Chief Strategy Officer for EverFi (recently acquired by Blackbaud), which is an innovative education SaaS company and the inaugural investment for the TPG Growth Rise Fund. Before to joining EverFi, Mr. Pickrum served in a variety of executive roles and ultimately became EVP and CFO of Black Entertainment Television (BET) Networks, an operating unit of Paramount Global (Formerly ViacomCBS Inc). Michael holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania as well as MS and BS degrees in engineering from Stanford University.
