Tom Clark

Tom Clark joined KIPP DC in September 2014. In his role he is responsible for leading KIPP DC’s fundraising, marketing and communications, student recruitment, headquarters culture and operations, organizational strategy and governance, and various other functions. Tom grew up all around the country but has called D.C. home for more than a decade. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education. Tom began his career teaching high school Spanish in Baltimore, Maryland before working for Teach For America on teacher recruitment and training, fundraising, marketing, and events for several years.
