James Steadman

James Steadman has over 20 years of experience in the field of human resources. James is currently working as a Human Resources Director at Kirby Corporation. Prior to that, they held various positions at ABS Group, starting as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner and progressing to roles such as Human Resources Manager and Senior Human Resources Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for talent acquisition, talent management, organizational design, compensation, DE&I, and business advisory. Before joining ABS Group, James worked as a Human Resources Manager at Plastipak for 11 years, where they led a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, benefits administration, and employee development.

James Steadman holds a B.S. in Management from LSU Shreveport. James obtained additional certifications such as CP from SHRM in December 2015 and PHR from HRCI in December 2003.
