Deedee Sun is a seasoned broadcast journalist with extensive experience in anchoring and reporting across multiple media outlets. Currently serving as the Morning Anchor and Weekend Anchor & Reporter at KIRO 7 since August 2017, Deedee excels in delivering engaging live shots, developing enterprise stories, and elevating community voices. Previous roles include MMJ and Weekend Morning Anchor at KWCH 12, and various reporting and anchoring positions at WICU 12News and Boston Neighborhood Network News. Deedee holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Economics from Boston University, complemented by a background in teaching and production roles during academic pursuits.
