Steve Konen, with a BA in Communications from Western Washington University, has a strong background in news operation management. Starting as an Assignment Manager at KOMO TV, managing a team of 10 employees, Steve then moved on to Cox Interactive Media as an Internet Content Producer. Currently, at KIRO TV, Steve serves as an Assignment Manager, directing daily news operations and managing a team of 7 assignment editors in a fast-paced news environment. Additionally, Steve has experience in assigning reporters and photographers to news stories and managing news content.
