Derek Hall

Derek Hall has a long and varied work experience. Derek began their career in 2004 as a Systems Analyst at Allscripts. In 2005, they took on two roles at the same time - a Programmer Analyst at SHPS, Inc and a Software Engineer at Appriss, Inc. At Appriss, Inc, they worked on the Interstate Compact Offender Tracking System (ICOTS). In 2011, they moved to Mission Data as a Developer/Systems Engineer. In 2018, they joined Oddball as the Chief Engineer of the Lighthouse API program and also took on the role of Lead Software Engineer at Oddball.io. In 2020, they were appointed as the Assistant Vice President of Application Development at Farm Credit Mid-America and in 2021 they became the Engineering Manager at Finite State. Derek is currently the Engineering Manager at Kit Check.

Derek Hall obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Louisville between 2000-2004. Derek also holds certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Cloud Practitioner, obtained in December 2019, as well as ITIL from the Information Systems Examinations Board, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Microsoft, and Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) from Sun.
