Kitab Development was born out of the Kitab Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting literacy and opportunity for immigrant and refugee families in Utah. Building on that mission, our founders created Kitab Development to expand our impact through the preservation and development of affordable housing.

We acquire, reinvest and develop multifamily properties with a focus on long-term affordability, community stability, and resident well-being. We also provide advisory services to facilitate the creation of affordable housing. Our work combines real estate expertise with a values-driven approach rooted in service.

We’re committed to creating safe, high-quality housing that supports the people and communities we serve.
