Alexander Bauer is the current Chief Operating Officer at Kitchen Stories. Alexander has held this position since August of 2020. Prior to joining Kitchen Stories, Alexander was the Director of Content Marketing and a member of the management board at Media Impact GmbH & Co. KG from June 2016 to August 2020. There, they were responsible for content marketing activities across all Axel Springer media assets and driving all digital and print channels.
Before Media Impact GmbH & Co. KG, Alexander was a Co-Founder & COO at Trademob GmbH from June 2011 to August 2013. At Trademob GmbH, they were responsible for operations, finance and HR. Alexander successfully scaled the business from 0 to more than EUR 10m annual run rate in less than 2 years and closed an EUR 11m financing round. Additionally, they managed the growth of the company from startup to established business with >50 FTE.
From September 2010 to September 2011, Alexander worked as a Research Associate at RWTH Aachen University. Their research area was entrepreneurial orientation as growth driver of large corporations. Alexander also coached startups regarding business model development, business planning and financing.
Additionally, Alexander has experience as a Director of Operations, which they gained at Ströer Digital from October 2013 to April 2016. Alexander also has experience as an Independent Consultant from August 2013 to March 2014.
Alexander Bauer has a Diplom-Kaufmann in BWL from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, a Field in Business Administration from the University of Navarra, and a Field in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
