Lucas Zeer

Lucas Zeer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Lucas is currently working as a Game Developer at a Stealth Startup since February 2022. Prior to this, Lucas worked as a Software Engineer at KitchenMate starting from October 2018. Lucas was drawn to the company's innovative and intelligent solutions to automate the food industry and promote healthier eating habits.

Before joining KitchenMate, Lucas worked as a Toy Design/Engineer at Hape Toys Intl. Inc. from November 2020 to February 2021. Lucas also served as the Technical Cofounder at The Brainery from March 2018 to November 2019. In this role, Lucas was involved in developing and implementing the Ferrobot, a digital microfluidic platform with various applications in the fields of proteomics and sensor integration.

Prior to that, Lucas worked as an Engineer at Sci-Bots Inc. from July 2017 to April 2018, where they developed the MicroDrop software platform for their hardware platform DropBot. Lucas also gained experience as a Deep Learning Software Engineer and Software Developer Intern at NVIDIA, where they worked on projects related to deep neural networks and visual computing.

Lucas also worked as a Hardware and Software Engineer Intern at the National Institute for Nanotechnology from January 2014 to December 2014, where they gained experience in fabricating molecular tunnel junctions and designing audio distortion circuits.

Lucas's career began as an Optics and Software Engineer Intern at Menlo Systems in Germany from May 2013 to August 2013. Lucas worked on optical experiments, ray tracing simulations, and programming optical systems.
