Kite Edizioni is an independent publishing house founded in 2006 (we celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2026!).

Our mission is to offer readers a rich literary and visual experience through the picture books we publish, carefully selecting authors and illustrators from Italy and around the world.
We believe that high-quality illustrated books are a powerful tool to nurture the emotional and cultural growth of readers of all ages — children, young adults, and adults alike. Our goal is to publish books that live up to this belief.

Today, our catalogue includes over 200 titles in Italian and 40 titles in French, published under our Passepartout imprint. Each year, we release around 15 new picture books.
We actively work on foreign rights and international partnerships, and regularly attend major international book fairs.
