Will Midwinter

Will Midwinter has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Will started their career as an intern at Stoke City F.C. in 2010, where they contributed to the development of the club's online presence. Will then interned as an Analyst at CAPTURE, where they compiled a campaign database and conducted store visits. Will also worked as an Account Executive Intern at Different Ltd, managing a social media competition campaign for the German Tourist Board.

In 2012, they served as a Sport Broadcasting Intern at the BBC, assisting with the broadcasting of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships and recording sporting events during the Olympics. Will also worked briefly as a Temporary Programme Coordinator at Restless Development, where they assisted with communications and social media management.

Will joined FutureSense Group in 2014, starting as a Volunteer Mentor and Programme Coordinator, and subsequently taking on roles such as Nepal Programme Coordinator, Interim Country Manager in Tanzania, Programme Development Manager, and Country Operations Manager in Thailand.

In 2017, Will joined World Volunteer as a Partnerships Manager, focusing on partnership management and youth engagement in Asia and Europe. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Strategic Partnerships Lead at Kite Insights.

Will Midwinter holds a Bachelor's degree in Combined Honours, with a focus on Media, Communications & Human Geography from Newcastle University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in various subjects, including social innovation, sustainable development goals, children's human rights, and M&E fundamentals.
