Basma Muhammad

Basma Muhammad has a diverse background in software engineering and technical leadership roles. Basma most recently worked as a Technical Delivery Manager at Kitestring Technical Services. In this role, Basma actively contributed to the design and development of various applications, ensuring their successful delivery. Basma collaborated with the team to establish clear objectives and design functional code to enhance user experience. Basma also cultivated relationships with Kitestring clients through meaningful discussions about technology, resulting in successful project implementations and long-term partnerships.

Prior to Kitestring, Basma worked at Koinz as a Software Engineer. Basma significantly improved the performance and efficiency of existing backend applications by analyzing code and staying informed of industry developments. Basma was responsible for the development and maintenance of core backend services, including database management, API design, and server-side scripting. Their focus was on delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. Basma also had a role as a Software Engineer Intern at Koinz.

Basma also gained experience at Udacity as a Session Lead, where they guided and mentored students in gaining a deeper understanding of complex concepts. Basma provided personalized training and collaborated with students to improve their coding skills.

In addition, Basma worked as a Mentor at acmSHAC, where they tutored students, graded assignments, and created problem sets and programming contests. Basma also developed and administered training contests to help students become competitive programmers. Through this role, they improved their ability to motivate and encourage others, gained communication skills, and broadened their intellectual horizons.

Basma Muhammad has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Maharishi International University, which they obtained between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from El Shorouk Academy, where they studied from 2014 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Basma has also obtained certifications in the field. In July 2018, they received the ICPCID certification from the ICPC - ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. Basma also completed the Full Stack Web Developer Nanodegree program from Udacity in March 2018.
