Luka Posilović

Luka Posilović is a PhD holder and the Head of Machine Learning at Kitro, where they focus on tackling global food waste using artificial intelligence. Born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia, Luka has a strong academic background with a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a PhD in Computer Science, both earned with distinction. They co-founded Prostec, a startup aimed at enhancing farm efficiency, and have held significant roles at organizations such as INETEC and Kolajna ljubavi, where they served as Vice President. With a passion for computer vision, deep learning, and volunteer work, Luka enjoys cycling, rock climbing, and traveling the world.
