Peter Nilsson

Peter Nilsson is the current President & CEO at Kitron. Prior to this, they were the President Electronics Division at PartnerTech from October 2010 to October 2014. At PartnerTech, they were responsible for P&L for entities in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, United Kingdom, United States and China. PartnerTech was listed on the Nasdaq OMX Stockholm Exchange and provided Electronics Manufacturing Services. Today, the company is part of the Scanfil Plc group (FI).

From September 2007 to October 2010, Nilsson was the Managing Director at Rimaster. As Managing Director, they were responsible for the Electronics Division. Rimaster is a leading supplier of cable harnesses, electrical cabinets, electronics and cabs for special vehicles.

From January 2000 to August 2007, Nilsson worked at Sanmina as Vice President. From 2003 to 2007, they were Vice President Sweden and P&L responsible Plant Manager. Peter was also responsible for regional coordination and management of several Sanmina entities. In 2000, they became Vice President Lynchburg VA and P&L responsible Plant Manager of a multi-site facility with an initial employee base of 4000 employees. Sanmina is recognized as a technology leader and provides end-to-end design, manufacturing and logistics solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) primarily in the communications networks, computing and storage, medical, defense and aerospace, industrial and semiconductor, multimedia, automotive and clean technology sectors.

Peter Nilsson has a BScE from the University of Gävle in Industrial Engineering and Management. Peter also has a 2nd Lieutenant from Kungliga Sjöskrigsskolan (Naval War Academy) in Communications. Additionally, they have a Certificate Advanced Management Program 1997 from Chalmers University of Technology in Supply and Distribution Program, as well as an Advanced Management Program Certificate 1996 from Chalmers University of Technology in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Finally, they have a Certificate Advanced Management Program 1998 from Chalmers University of Technology in Total Quality Management for Executives, as well as a Certificate 1999 from the Stockholm School of Economics in Doing Business in Japan.
