Senior Big Data Developer at KitRUM

Pavlo Borshchenko has a diverse range of work experience in the software development field. Pavlo began their career as a Java Developer at NetCracker, where they implemented change requests and provided support for JEE-based solutions. Pavlo then joined Luxoft as a Senior Java Developer, where they implemented services for credit derivative trading flows and worked on legacy application modernization.

Pavlo later worked at Zoomdata as a Senior Java Developer, where they played a key role in the migration of a visualisation engine and the splitting of a monolithic Java web application into smaller services.

Pavlo then joined Nextiva as a Senior Software Engineer, where they created microservices for multichannel notification delivery.

Their most recent position was at KitRUM as a Senior Big Data Developer, where they migrated a large ETL system to the Databricks Delta Lake platform, optimized Spark jobs, and built custom operators for Airflow. Pavlo also developed a metadata discovery platform based on DataHub and Spline.

Throughout their career, Pavlo has gained experience in various technologies including Java, Spring, Scala, Python, Spark, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Pavlo Borshchenko obtained a Master of Computer Science degree in Informatics from Sumy State University. In addition, they have received additional certifications including Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle in December 2013 and Java 2 Fundamentals with a score higher than 94% of all previous test takers from brainbench.com in May 2010.
