John Pearce

John Pearce has extensive work experience in various roles and companies.

John currently works as the Chief Operating Officer at KittyHawk Ventures since March 2022.

Before that, they were with BlackRock for a significant period from January 2007 to February 2022. During their tenure at BlackRock, they held several roles, including Global Head of Platforms & Governance, Operations | Office of the COO. John led various initiatives and programs focused on operational, data, and risk transformation at the world's largest asset manager.

Prior to BlackRock, John worked at Gap Inc. as a Manager, Product Cost Management | Strategic Finance and FP&A. John played a key role in providing financial analysis and strategic guidance to the company's logistics, retail operations, and merchandising executives for the Outlet Division.

John also had relevant experience at Charles Schwab, where they served as a Senior Finance Manager, specializing in profitability analysis and cost allocations.

Earlier in their career, John worked at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants as a Senior Associate and Mellon Capital as a System Engineer, Product Manager | Client Service Associate, responsible for core applications and client support, respectively.

John Pearce has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara. John also holds an MBA and an MSIA degree from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business, with a focus on Business.
