A. Dickson has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2007, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Allegany College of Maryland until 2009. From 2011 to 2014, they served as a Computer Science Intern at the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration. Starting in 2014, they joined IBM where they held multiple roles, including Application Development Programming Specialist (Test) for OMS and DHS, and IT Analyst for USDA. In 2021, they worked at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as an Educational Content Creator for the Data Analytics and Comp Soc Sci Graduate Program. Afterwards, they joined Emeritus in 2021 as a Tester/Advisor for MIT Data Engineering and NYU Tandon CyberSecurity Certificate Programs. Currently, A. Dickson is working as a QA Engineer at Kitu Systems, Inc. for the Kitu Systems Convoy EV project.

A. Dickson has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Frostburg State University, which was completed by 2015. Currently, A. Dickson is pursuing a Master's degree in Data Analytics and Computational Social Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with studies expected to be completed by 2024. In terms of additional certifications, A. Dickson has obtained the Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in November 2022, completed the Data Structures and Algorithms with Python course at Nucamp Coding Bootcamp in September 2021, became a Scaled Agile Certified SAFe 5 Practitioner at the SAFe Agile Certification in Dubai in May 2020, achieved the Government Industry Foundations certification from IBM in September 2019, obtained the ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) designation from ICAgile in July 2019, and completed the IBM Automation Essentials course.
