David Kitusa

David Kitusa is an experienced professional in business development and microfinance, currently serving as the Director of Business Development for Africa and Regional Representative at Kiva since September 2008. Prior roles at Kiva include Senior Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Manager, specializing in Anglophone Africa. David's earlier experience includes working as a Microfinance Technical Advisor at Barclays Bank of Kenya and Technical Advisor and Acting Executive Director at DAI for the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Kenya. David began a career at K-Rep Bank Limited, advancing from Credit Officer to Senior Business Development Officer. Academic credentials comprise an Executive Program in African Sustainability from Strathmore Business School and a Master’s in International Development from Southern New Hampshire University. Currently, David is continuing professional development through McKinsey & Company.
