Lev Plaves

Lev Plaves has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lev started their career at Kids N Clay as a Pottery Instructor from July 2005 to August 2007. Lev then worked as an English Teacher at AMIDEAST from 2009 to 2010. Lev Plaves joined Education Development Center in November 2010 as a Communications Coordinator before transitioning to the role of Communications and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer from July 2011 to October 2012. In 2012, they joined Kiva where they held multiple positions, including Field Support Specialist in the Middle East & South Asia from October 2012 to March 2014, Portfolio Manager in the Middle East from April 2014 to March 2017, Senior Investment Manager from April 2017 to April 2021, and Investment Director from April 2021 to present. In these roles, they were responsible for managing portfolios, establishing partnerships, fundraising, and developing initiatives to provide finance to refugees and displaced populations.

Lev Plaves graduated from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
