Liam Corcoran is an experienced professional in the fields of bioprocessing and fermentation management. Currently serving as the Fermentation Lab Manager at Kiverdi, Inc. since May 2021, Liam oversees gas fermentation operations and maintains essential documentation. Previous roles include Bioprocess Manufacturing Technician—Upstream and Production Services at Genentech, where Liam gained extensive experience in cGMP environments, managing 20L fermenter cultures and ensuring necessary supplies for manufacturing. Academically, Liam holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and multiple Associate of Science degrees in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from Diablo Valley College. Additionally, Liam has a background in research and coaching, having worked as a Research Assistant on a water purification system and as a coach and referee for the Mustang Soccer League.
