Daniel Widgren

Daniel Widgren has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Daniel currently serves as a Lead backend developer at Kivra since November 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Technical Lead at Kivra from October 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining Kivra, Widgren founded their own company, Widgrens IT, in February 2020, where they held the position of CEO & Senior Consultant. Daniel also served as a Technical Lead at Mbegu Solar from May 2021 to August 2021 and as an Erlang Developer at Sigicom AB from January 2021 to June 2021.

Widgren worked at Zaark as a COO from May 2019 to October 2020 and as a Software Developer from October 2015 to October 2020. Daniel served as a Deputy Board Member at Voca Communications from March 2018 to September 2020.

Earlier in their career, Widgren worked as a Software Developer at Imentum AB from September 2014 to October 2015. Daniel also held various roles at Kivra+Brevo, including Solutions Architect from June 2013 to September 2014, and Developer from March 2012 to June 2013.

Additionally, Widgren worked as a Consultant at ÅF AB from August 2011 to March 2012 and gained valuable experience at Erlang Solutions. At Erlang Solutions, they served as an IT Consultant from March 2011 to August 2011 and fulfilled the role of System Engineer and trainer from June 2010 to February 2011.

Daniel Widgren earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University between 2005 and 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine: Production" and "Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine Specialization" from Coursera in February 2020. Daniel has also completed certifications in content marketing, online marketing, and advanced business strategy from LinkedIn and Coursera. Furthermore, Daniel has acquired knowledge in various technical areas through certifications such as "Introduction to Cloud Infrastructure Technologies" from edX, "The Docker for DevOps course: From development to production," "Learn Devops: Continuously Deliver Better Software," and "Master Ansible" from Udemy. Daniel has also completed certifications in project management, DSDM Atern Foundation, and is a Certified ScrumMaster.
