Jeff Austin

Jeff Austin has over 10 years of professional work experience. In 2009, they began their career as a 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentice at Bowick and Son Construction. In 2012, they joined Geazone Eco-courier as their first employee, where they worked as a Software Developer, Business Developer, and Eco-courier. In 2015, they took on the role of Remote Javascript Contractor at FillZ.com, where they developed and maintained ES5 Javascript repricing scripts for customers. In 2017, they became a Full-stack Software Developer Intern at Carmanah Technologies Corp., where they worked with a small Agile + Scrum team to develop and maintain web applications and REST APIs. Finally, in 2019, they joined KIXEYE as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Associate Software Engineer.

Jeff Austin attended Camosun College from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Computer Systems Technology Diploma. Jeff then attended the University of Victoria from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science.
