Eddy Chau

Eddy Chau has worked in the software engineering industry since 1998. Eddy'sfirst job was as a Test Engineer at VeriTest from 1998 to 2004. During this time, they were responsible for developing, documenting, and executing test strategies, plans, matrices, and test cases. Eddy also set up complex testing environments for hardware/software test, including multiple protocols networked environments in multiple languages. In 2004, they moved to Boingo Wireless as a QA Analyst. Here, they tested client software on Windows OS, Windows Mobile OS and Nokia Symbian OS. Eddy also executed tests involving security protocols: Open, WEP, WPA and WPA2, with authentication protocols MD5, TLS, LEAP, TTLS, PEAP, FAST, GTC. In 2007, Eddy moved to MullinTBG, a Prudential Financial company, as a QA Analyst II. Here, they performed black box testing of financial application created in VB6 and participant / plan sponsor / content management system website created in .NET. Eddy also validated test results by using SQL to query Oracle database. In 2011, Eddy returned to Boingo Wireless as a Software Engineer for Test. Eddy'sresponsibilities included creating automation tests using Katalon Studio framework for all web based products, as well as supporting a team of 9 developers. Eddy also tested web apps and software apps on PC, MAC, iOS and Android platforms. Most recently, Eddy has been working as a QA Software Engineer at Kixie since 2021.

Eddy Chau received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997.
