In 2005, Winner founded Textbooks Direct, a company aimed at providing affordable textbooks to high school students. John recognized the high cost of textbooks and aimed to create competition in the market.

That same year, Winner also founded the One Stop Hurricane Shop. This company focused on offering the best hurricane essentials and preparedness gear. Although there were no hurricanes during the initial years, the company still turned a profit due to the demand for preparedness products.

In 2007, Winner founded NutraApex LLC, a company centered around health and nutrition. Through this venture, they aimed to provide reliable information and solutions to improve society's overall health and well-being.

Winner's next venture was Scientific Marketing Group, established in 2010. As the founder and marketing strategist, they built a dynamic, innovative team to help companies with great products and visions compete and succeed in the market.

In 2018, Winner became the CEO of KIZEN. This company offers a platform that integrates data, leverages automation, and generates actionable insights to drive productivity and growth for sales, marketing, and operations teams. The goal of KIZEN is to empower teams of all sizes and foster prosperity for all.

John Winner graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. During their time at the university, they focused their studies on entrepreneurship, management, and psychology.
