Stan Potums

Stan Potums is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at KJR and Co-Founder of Brisbane Climate Crew, where they advocate for climate change solutions and net zero emissions. They lead several AI and computer vision projects throughout the data and machine learning lifecycle, contributing to environmental monitoring efforts with Indigenous ranger groups. Previously, Stan worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Envirio, developing a litter drone app, and has experience in software engineering across various companies, including the Local Government Association of Queensland and Synergie Belgium. Stan is also a Fast.ai in-person attendee and a Climatebase Cohort 6 Fellow, demonstrating their commitment to climate tech and innovation.
