Gary Silber

Gary Silber is the Managing Director and General Counsel for Investments and Risk at KKR Insurance. With extensive experience as in-house counsel, Gary has developed a strong background in the financial services sector, particularly in insurance and reinsurance, as well as credit/fixed income, real estate, and structured finance. Prior to joining KKR, Gary served as Managing Director and Legal Senior Attorney at Global Atlantic and held the position of Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Goldman Sachs. Gary began their legal career at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, focusing on derivatives and structured finance transactions. They earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law after completing a BA in Economics at the University of Michigan.
