James A.

James A. is the Chief Compliance Officer of KKR Real Assets and the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer of KKR Private Markets. With extensive experience as Counsel at Debevoise & Plimpton, James has advised asset managers and investment advisers on complex regulatory matters. James also served as a member of the Science & Law Committee at the New York City Bar Association and held earlier roles in financial planning and analysis at Insight Partners and as a Human Rights Program Intern at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility. They earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
