Jay Shah

Jay Shah is a Principal at KKR & Co. Inc., focusing on software private equity as part of the KKR Capstone team since July 2022. Previously, Jay served as an Associate at Sycamore Partners, a firm with approximately $10 billion in assets under management, concentrating on consumer and retail investments from September 2018 to August 2020. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Senior Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, recognized as a top 5% analyst, and co-founding Bayes Consulting as a Data Scientist. Jay's notable philanthropic effort includes biking 4,000 miles from Texas to Alaska as part of Texas 4000 for Cancer, raising around $500,000 for cancer research. Jay holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and dual bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Finance with Business Honors from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a background from the Texas Academy of Math and Science at the University of North Texas.
