Michael Harkey

Michael Harkey is the head of tax for KKR's K-Series products and the tax lead for KKR’s real assets platform. They previously served as the Senior Vice President at Brookfield Asset Management, leading the US investments tax function for the infrastructure business. Before that, Michael provided US tax advice at KPMG, working primarily in international tax and M&A. Michael holds an LL.M. in Tax Law from Georgetown Law, a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University, and is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at New York Law School, where they have achieved cum laude honors.
