Prashant Kumar

Prashant Kumar is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity across multiple sectors in South-East Asia and India. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of South-East Asia Private Equity at KKR since February 2018, Prashant previously held key positions at firms such as ChrysCapital and Warburg Pincus LLC, focusing on investments in consumer, healthcare, and industrial sectors. Prashant is also involved in governance as a board member for Vini Cosmetics and J. B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, and leads the Wharton Club of India as President. An alumnus of The Wharton School, the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Prashant possesses a strong educational foundation in finance and engineering.
