Hongbin Chen

Hongbin Chen's work experience begins in 2015 as a Front-End Web Developer for KW the Amar Team, where they developed and managed a Real Estate website using WordPress. They integrated the Nestio API into the website and implemented Memberful and Stripe plugins to create a membership payment system.

In 2016, Hongbin worked as a Front End Engineering Intern for The Corcoran Group.

From 2017 to present, Hongbin worked at KL Software Technologies. They started as an Application Developer, where they worked with a team of developers on a single page application project. They designed key business process workflows in Salesforce Process Builder and built reusable Angular4 components using SharePoint REST API. They also created RESTful APIs with ASP.NET.

At KL Software Technologies, Hongbin later became a Senior Developer and continued to work on various projects using Angular 4 for the front end and REST APIs built on ASP.NET to interact with Salesforce.

In 2019, Hongbin joined MDRC as a Consultant - Full Stack Developer. They served as the sole developer for an application that utilized Angular 7 and Kendo UI grids to dynamically build grids based on backend metadata. They were also a core team member for rebuilding a full stack MIS application using Angular 4 for the user interface and a .NET Core RESTful API for the backend.

Hongbin Chen earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they have obtained the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2021, MS: Querying Data with Transact-SQL from Microsoft in April 2019, and a Front-End Web Developer Nanodegree from Udacity in February 2016.
