Yawei Chen

Yawei Chen is a Senior Research Scientist at KLA, where they focus on fluid modeling for inspection and metrology tools. Previously, they served as a Project Engineer at Simerics, Inc., leading the development of 3D simulation models for various thermal fluid applications. Yawei also gained experience as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they conducted numerical modeling and experimental investigations related to heat and mass transfer processes. They hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
