Martin Olving has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Martin began their career as a Redovisningsekonom at Swedbank in 1986 and then took on positions at KLM as a Business Controller and later as a Finance Manager. In 1997, they joined DMB&B, an advertising agency, where they served as CFO and played a crucial role in the merger of a smaller agency and in a startup joint venture company. In 2001, Martin became the CFO at MediaCom before moving on to Cision in 2002 as VP Finance & Group Controller. At Cision, they managed a team of 7 and was involved in the transition to IFRS reporting. Martin joined Momentum Worldwide in 2005 as CFO and managed a team of 5 while reporting to the CEO in Sweden and Central Finance in New York. In this role, they played a key part in the merger between two agencies. Currently, Martin is working at Klara Consulting in a managerial position, overseeing advisory services and serving as an Authorized consultant.

From 1987 to 1991, Martin attended Stockholm University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance.

In 1999, they enrolled at Cityuniversitetet and completed their Master of Science in Management in 2002.

In 2014, Martin participated in a Business Development training program provided by a consultant company.

In 2013, they completed a Management training program at Gällöfsta Ledarutveckling.

In 2007, Martin attended Coach2coach and became a certified Coaching Practitioner.

Before their university studies, from 1982 to 1985, Martin completed their high school education at Danderyds Gymnasium, specializing in Natural Sciences.

Martin also obtained additional certifications, including becoming an Authorized Accountant (Auktoriserad Redovisningskonsult) from The association of Swedish Accounting consultants (SRF) in December 2008. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Open Water Diver Certificate from PADI in December 2001.

Martin has also pursued various short-term courses at Stockholm University, including Megers & Acquisitions (Corporate Finance) in 2004, Team, Team Development & Leadership in Group (Psychology) in 2004, Strategy Management & Business Development (Management) in 2005, and Tax law (Law) in 2005.
