Cian Masterson

Cian Masterson has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Software Test Engineer at Tellabs in 1999. Cian then joined Intel in 2000 as a Software Engineer, working on software and drivers for various chipsets. During their time at Intel, they primarily used VxWorks and Real-Time Linux, with some experience using Windows CE. In 2005, Masterson joined Klas Telecom as a Senior Engineer and focused on developing Linux device drivers for embedded telecoms devices, working with telecomms and datacomms protocols over high latency satellite links.

After a year at Klas Telecom, Masterson moved to CommProve in 2006, where they initially worked as a Senior Hardware Engineer for a year. Cian then transitioned into the role of a Firmware Contractor from 2007 to 2009. Finally, in 2009, Masterson joined Klas as the VP of Software Engineering.

Overall, Masterson has gained extensive experience in software engineering, hardware engineering, firmware development, and testing throughout their career.

Cian Masterson attended Dublin City University from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Electronics with a focus on Electronic Engineering.
