Alex Taylor

Alex Taylor has extensive work experience in the field of software development and data management. Alex started their career in 1994 as a Technical Support at Mowlem Facilities Management. Alex then worked as a Software Developer and provided technical support at Derivative Trading Systems Ltd. From 1996 to 1999, Alex worked as a Software Developer at Legal Technologies Limited. Alex then joined Oyez Legal Technologies as a Software Developer from 1999 to 2003. In 2003, Alex joined Kroll Ontrack where they held various roles including Software Developer, Manager of Data Management Services, and Director of Operations and Custom Development. Since 2017, Alex has been working as the Director of Data Science at KLDiscovery.

Alex Taylor has a diverse education history. In 1990-1993, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science at the University of Leeds. They further pursued their studies and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Science from the University of Dundee during 2017-2019. Alex's educational journey continued with a Certificate of Higher Education in Mathematical Sciences from The Open University in 2021-2022. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Machine Learning (Life Sciences) at the University of Dundee, starting in 2022 and expected to complete in 2027.
