Hardware Research & Development Team Lead At Ontrack at KLDiscovery

Robin England has extensive experience in the field of hardware research and development for data recovery. They started their career in 1987 as a Service Engineer and Technical Support Engineer at GEC Avery, where they gained experience in the design and maintenance of electronic and mechanical scales. They then worked at S&S International, where they started as a Trainee Data Recovery Engineer and received training in computer hardware and software. In 1996, they became a Data Recovery Hardware Engineer at S&S International/AuthenTec International, where they were responsible for the hardware aspect of data recovery work. In 1997, they joined Vogon International Ltd as a Senior Hardware Engineer, focusing on improving hardware data recovery capabilities. Since 2006, they have been working at KLDiscovery as a Hardware Research & Development Team Lead, leading a skilled team in the low-level technical design and operation of data storage technology. In 2018, they also worked as a Hardware Research & Development Team Lead at Ontrack. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in cleanroom engineering, firmware development, and the reverse-engineering of computer storage hardware.

Robin England attended The Training Camp in Oxfordshire in 2006, where they obtained a MCSA degree in Microsoft Windows XP and Server 2003. Prior to that, they attended Northstar Technical College in Swindon, Wilts. from 1987 to 1994, earning a BTEC HND degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Their earlier education includes attending Hayes Secondary School in Hayes, Bromley, Kent from 1981 to 1987, where they completed GCE O levels / GCE A levels.
