Klima is the world’s only youth-founded organization authoring original, comprehensive national climate curriculum rooted in indigenous knowledge. We are also the Philippines’ largest youth-founded climate education organization.

While most youth climate organizations focus on advocacy, translation, or distribution of existing climate content, Klima builds original curriculum from the ground up. Our work is rooted in indigenous knowledge and designed for the lived realities of one of the world’s most climate-vulnerable countries.

Founded in 2018, Klima has reached 18,100+ learners across all 17 Philippine regions and 15+ countries. We authored the first comprehensive national climate curriculum in the Philippines, projected to reach up to 2 million Filipino learners.

Klima believes climate leadership will not come from capitals. It will come from the archipelagos, the conflict zones, and the communities the climate crisis is hitting first.

Our work spans five program pillars:

Klima Kurriculum — the Philippines’ first comprehensive national climate curriculum, authored from the ground up.

Klima Karavan — regional implementation through university-wide partnerships across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Klima Kards — original, comprehensive climate education in 90 minutes.

Klima Kamp — immersive youth leadership development, with mentorship from Yale and MIT.

Klima Kollection — microfunding for grassroots climate action led by communities on the frontlines.
