Matt Averna

Matt Averna is currently the Head of Impact Strategy at Klimate, where they focus on scaling carbon removal through integrity and innovation. Previously, Matt has served as Carbon Sourcing Manager at ClimatePartner and Head of Operations at YAPU Solutions, managing global projects aimed at enhancing climate finance resiliency. They have also gained diverse experience in roles such as Sports Associate Editor at AOL and Managing Editor at Ethos, where they promoted social impact initiatives. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and History from Boston College and is pursuing an MBA at ESMT Berlin.
