Head of Marketing at Klippa

Rick N. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Rick started their career at RDW in 2010 as an External Advisor and worked there until July 2011. Rick then interned at Nikon Netherlands as a Marketing Intern, responsible for communication, promotions, advertising, and event organization from August 2011 to February 2012. Following that, Rick joined Traffic4u in March 2013 as an Online Marketing Specialist, where they analyzed and optimized online advertising campaigns until October 2015. From November 2015 to October 2016, they worked as an Online Marketeer at Athleteshop, and then took on the role of Senior Online Marketeer at the same company from November 2016 to July 2018. Rick then joined Brandfield as an Online Marketeer in August 2018 and worked there until September 2020. Currently, they serve as the Head of Marketing at Klippa, a company founded in 2015 that digitizes paper processes using machine learning and OCR technology.

Rick N. started their education at the University of Groningen in 2006 and completed a Bachelor's degree in International Business & Management in 2009. In 2008, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Tampere, where they studied International Business & Management. In 2009, they returned to the University of Groningen to pursue a Master's degree in International Business & Management, which they completed in 2012. During their Master's program, they also studied Marketing Management, earning another Master's degree from the University of Groningen in that field. Additionally, in 2009, Rick N. attended the International Summer Program at Konkuk University.
