Matthew Cormier

Matthew Cormier is a Geological Engineer currently employed at Klohn Crippen Berger since July 2019. Previously, Matthew held the position of Project Engineering Intern at Environment and Climate Change Canada from May 2017 to August 2018, where responsibilities included leading capital projects focused on cableway infrastructure, managing consultants and contractors, and facilitating the creation of standing offer contracts to mitigate infrastructure deficits. In May 2016, Matthew gained experience as an Engineering Construction Inspector (Co-op) with the City of St. Catharines, effectively liaising between senior engineers, project managers, contractors, and the public, enhancing communication skills. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, earned in 2019.
