James Chen began their work experience in 2007 as an Associate at Priority Consultants. James then moved on to work at Edelman in 2010, where they took on various roles and led the company's largest practice in Singapore. In 2013, they were brought into Vietnam to help integrate the Vietnam office into the Edelman network and grew the corporate practice revenue by 800%. In 2016, they became a Client Director at Edelman and was responsible for talent, revenue, and clients in Singapore and Vietnam. In 2018, James joined thyssenkrupp as the Lead of Communications in the Asia Pacific region, where they managed various communication efforts and maintained relationships with government stakeholders. James is currently the Head of Communications at Klook, leading the company's travel and experiences platform.
James Chen pursued their education at Murdoch University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a degree in Mass Communications with a focus on PR & Communication, Technology & Policy. Prior to that, they attended Temasek Polytechnic from 2001 to 2004, specializing in Communications & Media Management.
