Cam Birrell

Cam Birrell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation strategy and capability development across various industries. Currently serving as the Innovation Strategy & Capability Manager at Kmart Australia Limited, Cam has successfully led initiatives in inventory accuracy and emerging technologies, achieving a world-first solution that garnered significant recognition. Prior to this role, Cam was the Acting Director of the Innovation Centre at WorkSafe Victoria, where leadership of a diverse team facilitated the integration of product design into agile methodologies and fostered engagement with the startup ecosystem. Earlier experiences include pivotal roles at Fluid Branding and Hello Blossoms, where Cam demonstrated expertise in design strategy and event service management. Cam holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Monash University and a Bachelor's degree in Planning & Design from the University of Melbourne.
