Steve Bain

Steve Bain has over three decades of experience in the IT and electrical sectors, currently serving as a Senior Implementation Manager at Kmart Australia Limited since August 2010. Steve's key responsibilities include overseeing large-scale Life Cycle Management projects, managing IT budgets, and facilitating cross-functional communication. Prior to Kmart, Steve spent 16 years at IBM in various roles including Commercial Delivery Manager and Delivery Project Manager, where a focus on team leadership and strategic planning contributed to business growth. Steve began a career in the electrical field with a four-year apprenticeship at Ellas Electricks, followed by formal education in Electrical Engineering and Mechanics.
