Tom Madsen

Tom Madsen is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a GRC Security Advisor at KMD since September 2023. Prior positions include Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert at NNIT and Security Consulting Manager at Accenture. Tom has also held roles such as Security Architect at Atea Danmark and Security Advisor at Fort Consult. An accomplished freelance writer, Tom has been the editor for security-related content in Alt om DATA since 2015. Additionally, experience as an ICT Associate at UNDP involved support for PeopleSoft ERP systems. Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Open University UK, a Diploma in Computer Networking and Telecommunications from Aalborg University, and is pursuing a Diploma in Software Engineering at IT-Universitetet i København.
